Push was the newest song to date prior to recording, it really set a new bench mark in energy and song dynamics for us. This is the torment evoked through addiction while drawing parrallels between that and relationships we have in our lives. And the way outside influences (whether driven by other people, drugs, work etc) affect our relationships with other people.
It’s these things in our lives that we tell ourselves are everything — but at the end of the day that person/addiction/drug won’t be there, and we need to let go.
NB: Scene 2 is only available on the physical copy of the CD — it’s the song we open each show with.

Scene 2:
Let go and push it onto me
Let the lights blind and let me see
Let go, let go
Scene 3:
You keep pushing and I keep pulling
We’re swallowed by the same addiction
I can’t believe we’re here again
Affected by the same affliction
The same affliction
The same affliction
The same
The noise fades in and the room starts spinning
We seem to bisect during the union
I’m catatonic and you start screaming
We fell in love with the confusion
With the confusion
With the confusion
With the confusion
Let go and push it onto me
Let the lights blind so I can see
I won’t go back there and let you be
Everything at once but nothing to save me
Me, me
You’re nothing to save me
You keep pushing and I keep pulling
We’re swallowed by the same affliction
I’m catatonic and you start screaming
We fall in love with the addiction
With the addiction
With the addiction
With the addiction
What are we waiting for
We’ve lost what we once saw
But I’m coming back for more
